IoT Security Laboratory

ICT/AI Testing and Experimentation Facility
At the ICT/AI Testing and Experimentation Facility, we specialize in security testing of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in accordance with the ETSI EN 303 645 standard and the TS 103 701 assessment methodology. We help manufacturers and distributors effectively demonstrate compliance with cybersecurity requirements for consumer products.
Why trust us?
  1. We conduct comprehensive security testing of consumer IoT devices – from password policy verification to resistance against external attacks.
  2. We identify vulnerabilities in line with industry best practices.
  3. We assess resilience to intrusion attempts (penetration testing).
  4. We prepare test reports, which can be used to obtain a certificate of conformity.
  5. We support the process of improving your product.

Contact us for an individual offer to test your IoT device in our Laboratory.
You don’t have to evaluate it yourself, we test it for you (before the market does).

Proficiency Testing Providers (OBB – Organizator Badań Biegłości)
Within the structure of the ICT/AI Testing and Experimentation Facility, a Proficiency Testing Provider has been established, responsible for organizing proficiency testing schemes and interlaboratory comparisons in accordance with the following standards:
  • EC 62443-4-2 ETSI
  • EN 303 645

In 2025, the first interlaboratory comparison in these areas was conducted in Poland. Further rounds of comparisons are scheduled in the near future, and laboratories are cordially invited to participate. These initiatives represent an excellent opportunity to enhance competencies in the testing of emerging technologies.

The Proficiency Testing Provider is also in the process of preparing for accreditation in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17043:2023.

Reference Material Producers (RMO)
The Reference Material Producer, operating within Standardisation and Certification Centre and in cooperation with the ICT/AI Testing and Experimentation Facility, offers reference materials in three areas:
  1. Internet of Things (IoT)
  2. Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS)
  3. Language Models
All reference materials are produced in accordance with proprietary procedures developed by IT specialists employed at NASK PIB.

The development of reference materials aims to foster the standardization of emerging technologies and to support the growth of the Polish IT sector. The Reference Material Producer is currently preparing to obtain accreditation in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO 17034:2017.
