In a few sentences
The Center for Standardization and Certification of NASK-PIB cooperates with accredited and licensed laboratories. Laboratories perform tests in the field of security assessment of IT products as part of certification programs. Tests conducted by the laboratories are perform under the supervision of the Certification Body in accordance with the CEM assessment methodology (Common Methodology for Information Technology Security Evaluation).
Currently, there are two laboratories of this type in Poland, and several dozen of them operate around the world under the SOG-IS MRA and CCRA agreements.
The IT Security Assessment and Certification Program (PC1) defines the basic principles and requirements for laboratories conducting evaluations. A laboratory that wants to conduct such activities must first obtain a license from the Certification Body. The licensing process starts after submitting a license application to the Certification Body. For further information, please contact us.

Cooperation with laboratories
The licensed laboratory system is open for new laboratories. Other laboratories may also join, provided thath they meet the requirements for conformity assessment bodies set out in the IT Security Evaluation and Certification Scheme (PC1) and obtain a license from the Certification Body confirming compliance with these requirements. Institutions and companies interested in launching the laboratory and its licensing under the IT Security Evaluation and Certification Scheme (PC1), are kindly asked to contact the Certification Body.
