Every person has the right:

  • submit comments regarding the digital availability of the website or its element,
  • submit a request to ensure digital accessibility of the website or its element,
  • request access to unavailable information in another alternative form.

The request must include:

  • contact details of the reporting person,
  • indication of the page or element of the page to which the request relates,
  • indication of a convenient form of providing information if the request concerns providing unavailable information in an alternative form.

The application should be considered immediately, no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to ensure accessibility or provide access in an alternative form within this deadline, it will be done no later than 2 months from the date of notification.

Complaints and appeals

If a public entity refuses to comply with a request to ensure accessibility or an alternative method of access to information, the person making the request may submit a complaint regarding ensuring digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or element of the website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, you can also submit an application to the Commissioner for Human Rights.

Architectural access

The building is adapted for people with mobility disabilities. There are 2 entrances to the building, from Kolska St. (main entrance) and from Spokojna St. The main entrance allows easy access for wheelchairs. There are 2 disabled parking spaces near the main entrance. After entering the building there is a reception desk. The further passage is secured with gates through which a person in a wheelchair can pass.
Corridors and rooms on all floors of the building are accessible to wheelchair users. There are two elevators in the building. The elevator doors are automatic sliding. Optical and acoustic signals enable easy identification of the lift, all visual markings are accompanied by an equivalent voice message informing about the location of the cabin. The button panel in the elevator car is located on the left side of the car, at a height of approx. 1 m from the floor. The buttons in the elevator are clearly visible, contrasting, with a diameter of approx. 20 mm, additionally marked in Braille, and acceptance of the call is signaled by their backlight.
A toilet for disabled people is located on the ground floor, near the reception.
An induction loop is installed in the building. At the reception and in any other place you can use an online Polish Sign Language interpreter (PJM). The service is available during NASK’s working hours. The service is free for Deaf people.
